Photo 497A is an environmental photography class at Penn State University. The students are comprised of not only photographers, graphic designers and artists, but scientists as well. Together they aim to document environmental issues that our world is facing everyday. This course is unique because of the diversity of students that are enrolled in it, so each student is focusing on a singular project of their interest. Their goal is to make the issues they are photographing known around the Penn State campus as well as in their local communities.
